Distorted Forest is located in the woods of North Smithfield, RI on a 27 acre plot of land.  Though only 20 minutes outside of Providence, it can be found in a very secluded area.  Abutting a preserved forest, it's a perfect location to get away from the city, get immersed in nature, and get creative.  

The studio is comprised of two live rooms, a control room, and some smaller isolation closets.  Our larger live room is located on the first floor.  An acoustically spacious and reverberant room with cement floors and high ceilings.  A medium size live room is found on the second floor, which is perfect for isolation and controlled acoustics.  Our control room resides at the head on the building on the second floor.  A cozy atmosphere to relax, listen, and track.  
 

The studio is about 20 minutes outside Providence, an hour outside Boston, and three and a half hours outside New York City.  Though off the beaten path, we are still close to basic amenities, lodging, and restaurants.
